yeah the 4th only changes if they win - Crazybagoham
You can see why they were willing to let Goldobin go, especially if the dressing room reports are legit.
I'm not saying the kid is a bust, but he's a prospect with issues much like JV.
A 4th unless they win the cup. Hell if I was JB I might have declined the 4th and asked for 2 1sts had they won, which would still be worth it for SJ. |

Depending on where we pick we could get one. - thundachunk
Well consensus is they will draft a center with the top 7 pick so you would need another pick around 15-22 to get Foote or Hague |

I'll see what I can do.
Give me a few days to ferment some personal Swede hate, discredit any player under 6 feet and lose all objectivity concerning management.
Imagine the convo's we could then have |

Subban 1g, 1a today. Gotta think they trade him by next year. Can't hide him from the NHL forever.
Aston-Reese has WBS goal. Corrado slumming it. |

I don't think you will find the hate for the Swedes because much like them , the French are also afraid to engage in fighting . |

I agree, but it could be along the lines of McCann, we don't know what goes on in the locker room. |

If he starts shopping him too early though, that raises more flags on him which diminishes value.
I'd rather work with him, as it could just be a maturity issue. The kid clearly has some skill. |

A lot of his boys are gone and the Sedins will be next, he's probably a hell of a lot more open to it today then he was a year or 2 ago. It's basically just he and Tanev besides them. I think if Benning/Linden pushed him, he'd provide at least a small list. We can only speculate though. Who knows if Benning even wants to move him.
I still have yet to see a convincing argument made by anyone for why trading Tanev is a great idea. - Nucker101
The better idea is moving Edler |

So what are these Goldobin rumours?? - thundachunk
"However, his brief stint came with an adverse reaction. Reports surfaced Goldobin was not well-received by his teammates in the locker room during the Islanders game. "

Before anyone freaks out, this was written months before he was traded. |
