Clearly Tanev and Edler are better hockey players Than EG. But that's not really the point. We are rebuilding and those two should go and EG can fill an important role during the rebuild

I agree that you need a stronger brotherhood, but a couple of goons isn't going to change an entire team's mindset. They won't follow the Dorsett's. They're going to follow the Horvat's and Boeser's(hopefully) in the future.

I went to the Cougars/Winterhawks game last night and the Cougars had 52 shots and only 3 goals. They also hit iron 4 times and and those ones obviously didn't count. Portlands goalie stood on his head. Crazy game. Great hockey this time of year.

Tanev especially, the guy is making Sbisa look like a NHL defensemen this year and the last 2 years prior he made Edler look rock solid. He's the exact dman you want to pair a young dman with to give the young dman some confidence. Plus he'll still have trade value for awhile since he's only 27.

Meanwhile Hutton was a disaster with Gudbranson and Tryamkin during his short stint with Gudbranson also looked bad.

Not really cheering for any team, I am very interested to see a Calgary/edmonton 1st round if this weeks standings hold.
