Looking at the standardings, there is potential of a Sharks/Hawks 1round match up.

Those wanting a complete teardown don't care if the roster is full of AHLers or plugs who the kids cannot learn from. Who would pay & support that?

I like the LE signing. I dont think he was used well this year. We brought him in because he's capable of scoring 30 goals, but you don't put him in the position to get those goals. He was bounced all over the lineup all year, didn't have any time to develop chemistry with anyone. He score a fair bit being the net front presence on the PP but WD used Sutter in that spot. I think he struggled mentally, new city, new team, new coach, new systems, etc.

Next year, if he's used right, he will have more of an impact on the team.

His deployment was mishandled for sure. When LE, Sutter, and Grandlund were together was the most productive time for the three pretty much and WD splits them up and never gets back to it.

That would be another step back unless the intent is to trade him at the next TDL. He came back to win, Vancouver is not on his radar.

pretty sure they cant choose to expose a player with NTC. Player has to agree to any movement.
