Nothing to do with Benning other then maybe he had some hope. He never said "we will" make the playoffs. He said he thought he had a roster that "could" compete. Roster has not played up to their standards.

He "thought" wrong, therefore he's at fault. He's the damn boss.

I've been drinking this great tea my friend Marwood made for me. He boils these mushrooms and serves me the broth. I'll be back in 6 hours or so.

Remarkably, the Sharks are struggling worse than the Canucks as we kick off the home-and-home series this afternoon.

Will Vancouver help San Jose get back on track or will the Canucks finally register their first home win since February 18?

I think these last 15 games Tryamkin has been our best defence. I thought his conditioning would have been an issue but he has shown me otherwise.
- thundachunk

did I not say (years ago even) he would be a franchise D? In his 1st year he is impressing the fan base. Give him 2 years he will be a prominent stud 1-2D.

easily my favorite player on this team.

The Possession stat for Van has been terrible. The forwards aren't helping out the D. Has a lot to do with coaching.
- manvanfan

yes.
The coordination isnt there. There needs to be better communication in the coaching staff so that the D knows where the forwards would help out and leave a puck to be picked up.

WE have a very weak coaching staff. Biggest issue we've had for decades. Difference between a cup winner and missing the playoffs.

Even if not replaced better communication among-st the staff would result in better results

Linden asked abt Goldy scratch: At the end of the day, the coach makes the decision. Doesn't matter if you or I disagree.
