bye-week is a joke anyway. - Codes1087
yup. How about not cram so many back to backs in and give teams more rest between games. |

So Hansen for essentially nothing? - LeftCoaster
Yup, same as Luongo, remember the hysteria over that return |
|
|

Green does not strike me as a coach to put a player outside of their system into a prominent role. I can just as easily see Green putting Goldy on the 4th line or in the press box during a playoff chase/run. |

I'm not, the guy is an AHL player, Beiga is the better choice. - Makita
Yep, 18 career NHL games will do that to a player |

Who am I kidding, I've only seen one game with Golden Boy. I'm just being factious, next post will be to commend Willie on a great job developing and coaching. |

Goal and an assist last night in Edmonton. But the Oilers still won. I can't believe the Oilers are a 100 point team. McDavid and Draisaitl have been surrounded by some decent players and that made all the difference. |

You financial guys should leave the hockey business to us blue-collar workers, we know what's what
This may be close, but I will prevail... |

Thanks You Carol!
In what world does it make sense to play Biega as a 4th line RW over Goldobin. I know he hasn't been playing particularly well, but what is the point of publically saying you want to know what you have in the kids down the stretch and then do this... - Codes1087
Could be that Benning needs a certain amount of games from Biega as a forward in order to expose him as forward. Still no guarantee that Dorsett will be approved by the league for exposure. "Potential career threatening injury" is part of the exposure disqualification.

Why not? The mngt shift has made great strides there in applying the proper talent to surround McJesus.
I had the Oil in the PO's before the beginning of the season and had McJesus winning the scoring title as well...but was laughed at by many in here for calling both. |

Ummm....because they finished in 29th spot last year. I knew they were going to be better, I just didn't think they'd be this good this fast. |

I thought Biega had met the minimum games requirement to be exposed to expansion draft a little ways back?

please do not put words in my mouth.
Not every player will be better under said coach. Some will, some no different and some may be worse. Depends on him seeing the right use for certain players or using them in the correct scenarios.
On the canucks Id say thats the sedins, edler, tanev and even tryamkin might reach new heights too (pun intended) |

Yes he did. I was referring to try expose him as a forward instead of a defenseman. There were some rumours floating around a few weeks back about having him exposed as a forward so they wouldn't have to risk re-signing a Megna or Chaput etc and potentially having them not claimed and then Canucks have a contract they may not want to have on the books.
Edit: assuming of course that Dorsett is not eligible. |

He's not physically fit enough to be a 4th line grinder. He just lost 15lbs.
This is a good time for him to regain his strength.
Also higher chance of him being injured. We already have enough injuries. - SRam19
Hasn't this been going on for weeks now ? |

Let's see if he opts to deploy Sven in the last 5 minutes of play. |
