Not following you? What did Benning do that's idiotic and when did I praise him?
My comment was in regards to Desjardins throwing his GM under the bus publicly for sending down Labate. It really had nothing to do with Benning? - LeftCoaster
Yeah sorry, I just read the last couple of days of infighting and thought I'd jump in on the fun.
You are a good poster..
Benning and Linden are idiots..
Willie should be fired next week..
And the Canucks lack any serious talent in their team |

Easy with the homosexual (LGBT....Q?) insinuations boys.
Wouldn't want to trigger poor Codes and Neems on this beautiful Saturday morning. |

Molino with 9 and a half minutes of ice time.
Must of made a good impact on Willie? - Whiskey-Tango
He looked good for his first game. He actually looked better than Goldobin or Boucher. |

Didn't catch the game, but that's encouraging.
Lord knows we need some bottom six forwards. |

If London Knights lose tonight it's season over for #Canucks prospect Olli Juolevi. Would assume Utica next for Juolevi.
Juolevi is eligible to join Utica if London loses tonight. He can not play in Utica next season. #Canucks

I actually think Sutter is a great guy to expose. 4 years left at $4.4 million for a guy that really only does face-offs well. He has a full NTC so this might be our only chance to get rid of the guy.
33points in 75 games is actually the 2nd best production of his career. I know he kills penalties but our PK is horrible, so i'm not too worried about that. Also, finding linemates to play with him is even harder than it was with Kesler. - golfingsince

I can't understand how people can like Sutter at the money he's making, he's terrible. The more I watch him the more I want his ass gone. You can get what he brings for half the price. - LeftCoaster
We said the same thing about Bonino last year. His partners this week have been Shore and Goldobin . He is basically taking on the entire opponent other line by himself.
I will also say seven PP points is also a misleading number.
Boeser played on the PP last night and received one pass on a chance to score . He was in the slot the whole time.
Canucks have two puck hogs that are a cancer. Blaming anyone until they are gone is ridiculous.
Sutter looked a hell of a lot more dangerous last game with Boeser than he looked with the Sedins all year.
This team will be much better once the three Swedes are gone |

Why do we always think we are some type of financial managers...good on the players for getting what they can, while they can from the filthy rich owners who overcharge at the gate, at the engineering firms, supermarkets, real estate businesses etc, that they own.
Would you prefer that the team spend to cap floor and the owners profit even more so, or are you naive enough to think the owners will lower ticket prices for the fans?

From a cap perspective I would expect a team that's consistently finishing bottom five to NOT spend to the cap, it's extremely poor management. Cap space used properly can be used to acquire assets.
But hey, if you like spending it on poopty players only to get poor results, more power to ya. |

One third of the cap spent on 4 underachieving Swedes 25 mil
Our top line has less goals than Austen Mathews and is paid 14 times more |

Yup....the money Gillis paid them is silly for their age. I wouldn't call a 36 year old 50 point center an underachiever though, he's playing ok considering his age. He's just paid too much money.
Same with Sutter, I don't think he's underachieving, he's just paid too much for what he provides. |

I always knew you were a receiver, you were probably too busy cleaning the spunk up your back passage to read the thread properly.
Hey if you can call me a swallower you can expect it back....even if I get banned because it. You're only hurting the thread by posting foolishly like that when you're suppose to be the one deterring such behavior.
You're not a very good poster - LeftCoaster
Fair retort, and now to go into the subject deeper.
Willie is trying to ice a team and he set a standard, from that standard he received player buy in. Then along comes Benning and sends the one player that Willie thought deserved to be with the team.
He had every reason to publicly vent his frustration with Benning, direction comes from the top, and if you want unwavering loyalty, then you must have a solid communication system.
Now in regards to you, and my unfortunate post.
I had just read ad nauseous post after post in which everyone is an expert, and not just an expert, but top of their field expert. And then I came across the post that I replied to you, and I replied without any professional decorum.
So apologies and I'm done with having to oversee this group. |

You need Sutter going forward. People spew this BS about mentorship . We were close to half the cap space for mentorship and still finished 28 th last year. Do you really need to spend 40 mil to tell young players to go to the gym , eat proper , don't do drugs ( sorry Marwood ) and when you get hit turn the other cheek.
This is a terrible team and you need guys like Biega Sutter Horvat to show the young guys how to battle.
I am not in love with Sutter by any means but I do think he is a good third line player that has a lot of experience . He is surrounded by a lot of pansy asses like Tanev Sedins Eriksson and Edler .
Remember when Stecher got jumped by Martin . Edler watched Miller jumped in. There's the guy you say bye to. |

I think Lababte was sent down to help the Comets .They have struggled the last two games and are in a battle for playoffs

I'm with ya there....the sooner they're gone the better. To me, Sutter is a non factor, when it comes to mentorship, he's a wet noodle. I saw more emotion from Biega last night than I've seen from Sutter all year. |

200 PP minutes, 7 points. No matter which way you slice it, that's horrible.

He is also 5 th in scoring and tied for 3 rd with goals . Not eactly a smart move for a team that is horrible for scoring to ship off their top 5 guy |

I liked you better when you weren't a ref, you were allowed to speak more freely.
As for Desjardins, from a corporate perspective it's disappointing there's an obvious disconnect between the GM and the coach. They're obviously not on the same page and they obviously don't talk at this point. When you take issue with a corporate decision you discuss it within, not in the media.
That's my opinion. |

Well considering for those 200 PP minutes he probably had possession of the puck 5 minutes. He was also the only one who would play in front of the net while those other two sieves passed back and forth behind the net.
Again I will refer back to Boeser last nigh standing in the slot for most of the PP received one pass in the slot |

I wouldn't expose Edler because he'd get claimed ahead of Sutter. He also only has 2 years left on his deal, instead of 4.
Also, he's had better seasons scoring than Sutter has. |
