Stay the (frank) away.

The ground clearance on those cars is dangerously low. Your bumper will be mangled in a few years and if it's snows you're (frank)ed.

And new batteries, and maintenance, and a rental car while your Prius is being repaired.

I got the touring model and it's very nice. Drove it out to Pittsburgh for the Stadium Series. Didn't need to stop but once just to get out and stretch and top off gas tank each way probably could have done it on one tank each way if I filled up before the trip and wanted to really push it.

Ground clearance is low. Depends on how much snow. We got 5 inches of snow/ice outside of Philly recently and as long as I drove sane it was fine.

They can be that nice if you pay for it. I just mean they have higher trim packages available now. You no longer need to buy an Acura to get a lot of "luxury" features

The worst invention in these smaller hybrid cars/SUV contraptions.

CX3, HRV, Rogue, Jeep Renegade, and the upcoming CHR.

No (frank)ing room, truly underpowered engines. Despise them all. HRV has the OLD civic engine, that is weaker than what the current civic has.

They are low. I have a small divet at the end of my driveway and have a 2016 Civic. I have to be careful to slowly pull in and out.

I'm not looking to turn it into some fast and the furious type nonsense.

I just want something as basic as possible that isnt total trash. most newer models of all the basic four door sedans are nice enough looking.

I love the car otherwise, but for Winnipeg - it's not a smart buy. I got a new mid trim Mazda 3 hatch last year. Other than being notoriously bad in cold weather I like Mazda's. Just need to plug them in earlier than most other cars I noticed.

Got a battery keeper installed that helps a lot.

yeah i don't need anything too crazy. I do think the idea of a rear view camera seems pretty helpful though.

I'm bored so I looked at some historical numbers for the Flyers.

Since the lockout, using points per game, out of the 24 forwards who have played 100 or more games for the Flyers, VDV and PEB rank 22nd and 23rd. Only Zac Rinaldo is below them. This list includes guys like Arron Asham, Andreas Nodl, Ryan White, Darroll Powe...

Never happens. Minimal service on my first one. 9 yrs and 250,000 miles. I have 117,000 on the second one. No service other than an oil change and wiper blades.

I actually like the passenger side camera better than the rear view camera. That (frank)ing blind is gone forever. I will never buy another car without a camera that shows down the passenger side.

Personally I'd go after a CRV for the next car but that's just me. Regret not doing it last summer when I bought my current car.

Tacoma's are also nice, great if you like the outdoors but so damn expensive.

I think I'm pretty sold on just the basic, small sedans due to where and how I usually have to park.

Prius has tons of head and leg room. Couldn't disagree more.

Of course there's no power but plenty of acceleration. You shouldn't buy one if you're going off road or pulling a trailer.

It puts the a view down the side of the car from the passenger mirror covering the lane to your right when your turn signal is on where the back up camera displays when in reverse.

Wow!

It also leads me to my next point. The only way to really reduce concussion and serious collision injuries is to take away the hard plated body armor these players started wearing about 25 years ago.

- MBFlyerfan

Yes, yes, yes!!!
I've heard so many old time players say this and it's 100% true. Even when I played as a kid in the 70s and early 80s, the pads were soft. Someone threw an elbow at you, ya got mad, but at least you didn't get concussed!

These days, they're not only bigger and faster than ever but they are also wearing suits of (frank)ing armor.
