I doubt Avs make that trade, imo Landeskog was always more valuable than Duchene, he's a 21 (22?) year old captain. Hutton/Sven don't get you close to duchene, let alone landeskog. Loui Erickson is a comparable player, and we have his insane contract to deal with.

The orca was a corporate branding move of (ex-ownership) Orca Bay... Not even primarily a Canucks logo. The entire orca era has been an embarrassment IMO

Yes. The Canucks have an issue with no traditional logo having changed so many times. But their name is also hard to identify in a logo with modern Vancouver. A logger dude just is archaic. Plus Johnny Canuck was a war bonds symbol like Uncle Sam. Just not applicable to the vibe and market.

So what do you do? The plain hockey rink and stick? Make sure everyone knows this is about hockey like the inverted skate boot. Both don't really represent Vancouver or Canuck. But hey go for it if that floats your boat because nothing else can be imaged.
