Or it could be 14 teams were after him and Benning used that as a reason to sign here. - VANTEL
Yes. That was why I said he was sought after. |

Is that Molino's official measurements
Informed he got a solid NHL frame: 6’0″ and 185 lbs., plus an appealing set of wheels.
Guess you will be all tuned in for his debut Friday. - Nuck4U
Dude, 1 inch and five pound difference between your 'solid NHL frame' and his post. Lighten up, it's not worth arguing about everything. |

MacEwen is an interesting guy to see how he does. - VANTEL
Yes. If his junior team gets knocked out I think they might bring him to Comets now. That's if they want to go that route. But 2017 Camp is already shaping up to be a cruncher with all these kids. |

If you read on you would see Reuben thanked me later. He didn't even know about Moleto playing now. He wasn't referring to him in that post. So it was not even about that. That solid frame was from the province quote. Was having fun with that. Maybe you could lighten up and not see everything as an argument. |

Nice…Boeser scores and the tank is still on…perfect scenario.
Also can't wait for Miller to be gone next year. |

Love it. Probably told him he could play next week. Whatever it takes to get these young guys. - neem55
Yeah. They are talking Friday. Besides they are a forward short now. Could see him started on fourth line with Labate and Shore. His speed is supposed to be good for the PK too. Hansen type they say. But can play center. |

Next season is shaping up to be the first time in a loooong time that there will be some real competition for spots, especially at forward.
Good to see.
the process.

Molino, Chaput, Magma, Skille, Shore and Biege? It's going to be an all out war to determine our bottom 6! Lots of hits from Alphas and Betas and goals for days |

I'm terrified at the idea of how young our average age is going to be. Could be a long long season. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for it..... but it could get even uglier beige it gets better. |

It seems like the last many seasons there has been 1-2 spots up for grabs max.
I look forward to JV, BB, Boucher, Goldoblin, Cramarossa, Chaput, DD, Gaunce, LaBatte, etc all vying for spots. |

Goldy and Boucher i was torn on but the others on your list that i deleted
Guance is a good 4th liner, Sedins are still a decent 2nd line option.
Triple b line i like.
Erikson or granny back with the twins.
Sutter witb either of the above two that isn't with the twins and one of the kids(JV).
So forth line would have DD if he's better, Guance and ??
Even if you disagree about JV on the third it still only leaves the 3RW and 4C open to competition.
Let's move Guance back to center and throw Biega on the 4th line for poops and giggles.
That leaves 3RW for who? JV? Bouch? Nolan? Goldy?
Out of them all JV fits a third line role the best.
Agree disagree... doesn't matter to me. Almost 1am on a Tuesday morning. |

Agree.
My guess at this point for next year:
Sedin/Sedin/Granny
BBB
JV/Sutter/LE
Boucher/Chaput/DD
extra: Gaunce, Goldy, etc
that's if everyone 'earns' those spots (talking bout Brock, JV, Boucher in particular).
In my mind that's 3 spots up for grabs, with plenty of pressure from below to switch things up if/when needed.

I pretty much agree 100 percent. I don't like that 4th line though and i can see Guance being.... grittier than Boucher.
Chaput has done well as a fill in but I'd put him as 5C ...13F
But you're right, if we bring in some... veterans or other talent then we can waive those that fail...(frank) asset management... if they get through great, otherwise... who cares, let the best man win. |

Wow does this team miss those players. I didn't watch the game thanks to blackout (watched a bunch of highlights) and it isn't hard to see what went wrong on the goals. I would rather see Megna in then Boucher in that game. I don't know if he is resigned next season. I'd be surprised if he was. 2 times Boucher tried to blow the zone and cost them goals. |

There is a reason why he was waived 3 times this season.
People like to complain about Chaput, but he competes every night. |

People complain about a lot of players.
I had some hope for Boucher but he is probably the next Rob Schremp.
Baertschi Horvat Boeser
Daniel Henrik (free agent)
Granlund Sutter Eriksson
Gaunce, Megna, Dorsett, Chaput, Skille, other free agents trying out for 4th line duties. Maybe with all the experience Megna and Chaput got this year they can improve next season. |

Nolan Patrick again won’t play for the Brandon Wheat Kings in their game three matchup against the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight. According to Mike Morreale of NHL.com, he remains day-to-day for the Wheat Kings with a lower-body injury. The Tigers are up 2-0 in the series, and if Patrick doesn’t return soon he might not get a chance to compete in the playoffs at all this year. That would be a disappointing end to what has been a terrible draft year for the projected number one pick. It would give Nico Hischier and the Halifax Mooseheads—who are tied 1-1 in their playoff series—even more chances to prove why he should be considered for the top selection in this summer’s draft. |
