Read a cool article on that dude. Man, he used to fly redeyes every Friday/Sunday from Calgary to Toronto to cover the game because he had a weekly gig in Calgary.

Pretty crazy poop, the racism he had to deal with; always loved hockey growing up, pretty big in the Punjabi community because of what he's done.

I know it is a minority opinion but Ottawa is entirely in love with Phaneuf for the job he has done in helping Cody Ceci grow his game. Phaneuf is also given a lot of love for his being a strong supportive voice for Karlsson learning to be a strong captain.

Are there no second thought about the Leafs having given up Phaneuf for essentially nothing. Watching Leaf games I wonder if Morgan Rielly in particular would have benefited by the Leafs having kept Phaneuf.
