God damn this looks like the 3rd period of the Caps vs Stars game the other night.

With the Hawks playing the role of the Caps.

Win or Lose, doesn't matter other than the standings(where the Wild look like they're going to lose too anyways).

We look REALLY good.

Team speed, as I've been saying for weeks, is as good as it's been since 2013.

Oduya and Hammer look good.

D pairs look settled.

Rolling 4 lines with speed.

Constant Ozone time.

Back to being a dominant puck possession team like we were when we won those Cups. Very good sign.

Only thing i would say is the Face Offs need to improve a bit but we are facing the leagues best Face Off team. And its not really stopping us from doing whatever we want out there.

Ducks aren't the fastest of teams.....but they aren't that slow either.

Hawks are just really, REALLY fast. Honestly who's our slowest forward, Anisimov? And he can still skate pretty well for having a bigger body. Oduya has added even more pace to what was already a very fast blueline that is very dangerous in transition when clicking.

Its amazing how the speed of the kids seems to have impacted the vets. They must feel that they're quicker themselves.

This team is so much quicker/faster than last year's team. Not even close.
