Alright guys here's the moment you've all been waiting for, SimpleJack's prediction for tonights game(brace yourselves):
Ducks dominate early as the Hawks look rusty.....
Hawks trail 2-0 after 1
Hawks tie it 2-2 in the 2nd after finding an extra gear only to give up one of their patented end of the period goals in the final 30 seconds to go into the 3rd trailing 3-2.
Hawks tie it 3-3 on a Toews PP goal early in the 3rd. Then add a couple more goals in a flurry of action over the next 5-10 minutes to take a 5-3 lead. Ducks score late after pulling the goalie to make it 5-4 but only for about 30 seconds as an empty netter puts the nail in the coffin for a 6-4 Hawks win.
When all of this happens, you can be sure to find me here, and you can thank me for the warning and sit in awe of the all knowing powers at my disposal.
Thank you as always for your time.
GO HAWKS!!! |

I prefer 38 playing with 81 too but I think Q is still trying to figure out what he has in Jurco. Plus, doesn't he need a few more games to be expansion draft eligible, assuming he resigns since he'll be an RFA? - matt_ahrens
That's my guess as to why Jurco is playing with Hossa on the 3rd line. Can't see what Jurco has to offer playing with a limited skill (albeit useful) 4th line.
As for whether his playing time is related to expansion draft eligibility, IIRC another poster said that this isn't the case as Jurco has been in the NHL long enough to qualify. |

Incorrect. Panik was born with one hand, it's just made of stone. |

So much for having rust.
Hawks look great.
Almost identical to our first game after the last 7 day break we had against the Oilers where we dominated but just simply couldn't find the back of the net.
Hopefully this game doesn't follow that same storyline.
Oduya already with a few nice plays in the Dzone. |

HOW THE (frank) DO MISS A BLATANT 4 MINUTE PENALTY LIKE THAT!?!?!?!?!
 - SimpleJack
I assume you're referring to Manson's grill work on Schmaltz? Watching the replay from CSN.....its only right in front of the trailing ref while he's looking straight at it from 80' away. Yeah, that was bad on the ref.
Oh well, even though they didn't score on either PP, the puck movement was much better and Bernier saved their bacon.

Bernier hasn't had to stop a ton of A+ shots - most of the Hawks 19 shots weren't real tough shots to stop - but still - 19 shots! You'd think at least one of those would have deflected in. Hope it isn't "one of those games". |

DeBrincat with goal #61 tonight in Erie's 4-2 win. Now has 120 points with 5 games left in the regular season. |

I watched the end of the Ducks/Preds game a couple days ago. Bernier was solid and the reason the Ducks got 2 points. |
