I know this sounds a little harsh but for the rest of the year I would go with the Kids .

I would sit Eriksson out 15 of the next 19 games apologize to Mr Aquillini about wasting his money and reduce the twins ice time to 10 min a night.

It will give you a good idea of what you have with the kids.
It might agitate LE enought to waive his NMC
It might make the twins ask for a trade . This one is not that important but it is time to start cutting back their ice time and make this team less reliant on them.

Sedins need reduced time for sure. Not sure on LE though…would like to see some more line experiments with some of the kids so he can get rolling next season. Remember LE was getting a lot of PP1 time in Boston something he is not getting here…that needs to change to get him going.

I don't think he's pinning the bottom finish on LE, just saying that you wouldn't hand out that kind of deal if you think you're near the bottom of the league.

As for Virt and McCann, i'd say half the reason for the attitudes is the entitlement that follows being handed a roster spot at their age.

I could imagine....but that's pretty far fetched.

They at least had some NHL experience and were not 19 years old. I'd prefer not to have another JV, McCann experience.

The team unless something drastic happens probably won't be winning again next season. No sense in having him play.

I agree with this especially since neither of them dominated JR. Although what do you do with OJ next season?? That rule is terrible that doesnt allow him to play in utica next season.. Him id almost bring up and play him on the bottom pairing with Gudbranson.

I don't think so, he's played 340 games in the league, he is what he is. Everyone (generalization) said Tanev was working on his shot, working on his offence, well guess what, he is what he is too. And that's fine, he's very good defensively.

I'm fine with Gudbranson, I just don't like what they used to trade for him.

I dont hate the guy but he is a bottom pairing dman, which you can get in free agency, the guy is basically luke schenn.. Guy has no puck skills. You wont like him this summer when he gets a Erickson type deal and is impossible to move.

Not a bad option. Those offer sheets arent tossed around much though. Buffalo is starving for Dmen. They have one top 4 guy on their team, though that could change with expansion as they could pry 2 out of minny so they dont loose any for nothing.
