How about Kane, Fasching, McCabe for OEL, Duclair and Domi?

I think I would have to be high for it to be true

Tanev is a good player, not a bona-fide top D. And you're already capping Sam at 20g a year?
- Powerslave

disagree. He's not flashy but he's easily one of the best defensive d-men in the league at a very good cap hit.

Gaborik is 35, has 4 more years at 4.875, and 37 points in his last 94 games.
- dadeadhead

Scrap that then, if Reinhart were to be dealt then someone is going to have to play wing from within the organization. If Kane leaves next year they are in a heap of hurt on the wing especially if Nylander takes more time to develop.

faulk
- homiedclown

Idk if I'd trade Reinhart striaght up for Faulk.... But it would be a "Hockey Trade".

Does Faulk make us that much better? He's good but, I'm not sure what kind of D he is.... 2-way?

Reinhart is a 2nd overall pick in his second NHL season. You're undervaluing him. He has a lot of potential and could be a back to back 20 goal scorer in his first two years.
- bluengold12

20 goal a year Center does not get you a top 5 d in any world. You are nuts. That can be found all over the league. The D you are mentioning cost much much more. And you are saying THEY would have to add????? Everyone here hopes you are trolling.

Or you do what good teams do and figure out a way to replace Kane/Reinhart from outside.

Make fun all you want. That's where I start the negotiations if I'm GM.

By doing a line of cocaine or by offering up Rick James? Not sure where you were going with that.

Can you elaborate at all? Is "picky" meaning that he won't budge on what he wants in return for his UFAs. Or, does it mean he wants a specific player coming back for one of his guys.

The Pens struggled for years to find a winger for Crosby. Arguably, the answer came from within. Sorta. (Sheary)

Reinhart has played maybe 10% of his career thus far at Center. He's also not even close to his prime yet. Stop being foolish. Obviously OEL and Weber would require a piece or two but Trouba and Lindholm would have to add to get Reinhart and I fully believe that.

So, just to review, pending trade call, COL will send Jarome Iginla to LA for 2018 cond'l 4th round pick. COL to retain 50 per cent salary.

With less than two hours left I'm not sure how much leverage he has to be picky.

Trouba would be close we would have to add a little. Lindholm, we would be adding a good piece.

24, going to be 25 next year...

I'm not sure what he would do to help this team if he's average in his own end like you say.

If we could somehow make it Hanafin, that's more worth it because you don't know his ceiling yet. Faulk has most likely reached his.

Exactly. If he has more than one suitor, he can make them play chicken. Especially if these teams are asking for players he doesn't want to trade.
