Hopeful that Gus, Kulikov, Gionta and Franson are gone today, followed by Ennis, Moulson and Gorges in the summer. Disappointed in the year. Theres no doubt to me that coaching played a big part in it

Don't read into his numbers on a poop team, he's legit. Our problem is the exact opposite we don't develop enough of our own talent, aka Timmy rushing his way to mediocrity. Give Alex time he'll be a good one

He is 18 in in a league full of fridge nhl players playing a simple 2 way game.
Even his pro played another year in sweden before coming over.

We gotta remember sometimes it takes a year or two to be ready

Yes and no. Murray talked about his season on WGR right after the world juniors. He's having exactly the kind of season they thought he would. He'll have a great game and then the next night comes out and has a terrible game. He's not lighting the world on fire down there, but he's not "struggling" there either. It's a learning process. Murray fully expects him to come into camp and play like his hair is on fire and make the decision of what to do with him hard. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

FWIW though, Asplund was the guy that really impressed Murray the most during the WJC.
