Two names I've heard from one league source that could be on the move before deadline are Filppula and Johnson - eichiefs9

I only like it if Garth makes a big deal. Does nothing to me if other teams make the deals.

honestly im following some stuff but you guys have it on here too, between you and my buddy forwarding them to me i dont need it. it is awesome for breaking news and rumors
To TBL: de Haan, 2nd round pick, Grabovski
To NYI: Johnson, Filppula
TBL can LTIR Grabo and get full relief (his cap hit is identical $5M to Filppula) when they max out the cap next year. Islanders don't add (or lose) any salary (because Grabo is not on LTIR) but gain a healthy body that can play bottom 6 minutes. CdH is on an RFA deal, so he remains under TBL control and obviously the Isles could use Johnson.

I was just going to post this. Isles have such a great team with the regulars they do not have to make a trade. - ses111
I'm actually okay with them doing nothing this year. It makes no sense to overpay for a rental, and if the prices don't come down on guys like Duchene, Johnson, etc., might be worth it to wait for the offseason (especially in Tampa's case, where they'll be desperate to move Johnson with him being an RFA).

I agree no trade is better than a bad trade. When this team does go on a long playoff run again, there better be a blockbuster trade made in the summer. I'll probably want Pulock and Barzal included.

I agree with Chiefs regarding Pulock. Obviously not my first choice dealing him, but at the end of the day, if it gets us Duchene, I'd do it.

Lots of rumblings today about WASH having interest in Shattenkirk, we'll see...STL/WASH asking for a trade call..

I'd still like to keep Pulock, but if the Isles miss the playoffs or are out in the 1st round, I might want to see this roster ripped apart. I would actually offer Col less in the summer if I missed out on having Duchene for the playoffs. i would look elsewhere for trades. I would not waste anymore time with them in the summer and would move on to other teams.
