Wouldn't make sense for Murray to tell Dreger he expected to get calls that he isn't getting. At least the circumstances would have to be much different.

There was some hyperbole there, but why would Murray indicate that there wasn't interest in a player if he is truly looking to trade him, heck even if he isn't?

My point is that it would only hurt negotiations if this was said to Dreger...I don't think GMTM is that stupid, but perhaps I'm wrong.
