as you said, get someone to park themselves right in front of the net, battle hard and fire shots on the net....... it's a particularly hard concept for some to master it seems

Gotta love the rate at which we've been scoring goals. And without relying on PAK to dominate makes it even more impressive.

Once again they get a 2 goal lead and start playing fast and loose, which is why the Yotes tied this game in the 1st. Unlike past years this team takes no pride in strangling the opponent defensively. If this is how they are going to play during the regular season this is how they will play come playoff time, which means no Stanley Cup

Sloppy game, but don't sell Arizona short. They aren't a complete team but they have some players that can make you pay. A few Hawks didn't have their head in the game tonight, but they have some guys who are still playing very well. Toews, Schmaltz, Kane, Hartman, etc...

The Hawks may add, but the holes in the lineup aren't too big right now.

I'd argue that they were playing loose before they had the 2 goal lead. I just don't expect them to have their full compete level against the Yotes.
