I got a jabroni Ranger fan friend on FB who not only hates AV, but Gorts too. I can't even w this guy. I just don't get how you look at this team as constructed, how well for the MOST part they've played & think these guys need to go. - B2B76

Ladd & Clutterbuck are going to be like our Girardi & Staal contracts - mdw7413
i would have to agree. that Ladd contract looks real bad. he is already showing signs of slowing. At least he is a forward though and they have more options of what to do with him. |

How about that addition of Grabner? AV wanted him & Gorts made it happen. How has that turned out? |

Dont think Step and Zib can be any worst then they were last game. - dman78
just think.. when Zib finds his game (not counting Step in this as I dont think hes been THAT bad, just not producing much atm) this team is going to be set up so well up front

Meh...he's playing pretty well of late. 4g, 6pts in his last 9 games. I won't complain about that. I'll give it 2 years before I decide if it's really that terrible or not. The term sucks but $5.5M is hardly an unmanageable number to live with. |

Like I said last week, Buch, Graves, 1st and maybe something else. Which was laughed at by RD, so you know... |

Didn't we have Danny Kristo like 5 years ago? Looks like his career is going swimingly |

it's like the Rangers are the 2004 draft. The Rangers had one billion picks, but after the first two guys the whole draft sucked. |

1st two pick were Montoya and Korpo, then got Dubi and Callahan later. |

dont the devils have a ton of picks too?
i bet they both try and get with teams who are up against the cap and acquire talent for picks at the draft. |

Kind of a random thought and not sure if it makes sense, but rather pay for a 29 year old that were going to have to sign until he's 35, what about going for a guy like Justin Faulk. Maybe 2 1sts Gropp and Graves? |

I kind of figured but that team is a mess. Not going to be good anytime soon. Klein as a serviceable dman, 2 good prospects in Graves and Gropp and the 2 1sts. If we're going to be offering 1sts and prospects I'd rather do it for a 24 year old that's signed for 3 more years than a 29 year old were going to have to sign until he's 35. |
