You may say 16 points in 24 gp, big deal....but since being called up from the ECHL the second time around Carter Verhaghie has 6 goals and 2 assists in 5 gp.

No way the Leafs give Laich an new contract, and no way in hell he signs it, so forget about him being a player exposed.

We need to expose two forwards under contract who played 40 games this year or 70 over past two seasons.

Lupul won't make that criteria.

Smith will be one (needs 6 more games this year).

I can't see them calling up Froese for 10 more games this year.

So unless they trade for someone or pick another stiff up off the waiver wire, it has to be one of Martin, Bozak or Komarov, as far as I can tell.
