Gillis plays every (almost) Friday with the Courtnall boys at Victoria Golf & CC, I asked the head pro to put me in with them one day, he said he would. I've met the Courtnall's, our mom's use to curl together years ago.

Sure Nucker posts a few stats that are accurate...but what does that really get us in reality of where the team is actually heading and the processes involved? Nowhere.

I'd have no problem if he came back an contributed constructively...but returning twice a year when his 'team' beats our to throw sand in our face is just well...childish...but not shocking considering his history since I've been on here.

Torts said three years ago how stale the core was and it will be five years after that we make the serious moves.

Bang-on. I work between two high schools and run an Arena at a Rec facility and this is what I see from 90% of the kids today. Self-entitlement and validation...some assembly required.

This is what pains me the most, when I see continual mismanagement of the club, it must be different on the inside because if we can all see it I can't for the life of me understand why they can't.

It's just not easy to completely recreate a team in a season. JB has done a very good job. After next year there should be only 2-3 players from the cup run left.

No, but talking about 5 wasted years. It usually takes 4 years before most drafted players enter the league unless you've got a good draft and are drafting top 5. We haven't had the chance to draft Matthew's and marner. McDavid, dristial. Bad this year, bad next year and should see Van's time.

its not a fast rebuild with all those NTC's. Picks were spent to bring in players we needed. Now it's time to start hoarding picks. It just takes time. Were u expecting a cup contender by now? Sedins are up next. BO and OJ are on the horizon. + another couple years of top picks. Things will pick up.

Who knows, maybe Gaudette is a diamond in the rough too. Sure looks that way. I'm ok with how things are. Can't wait for TDL and draft day. As I will be next year as well.

The 2 biggest hurts on this org was

1. not winning the lottery last year.
2. 100+ pt mirage of a season during the McDavid draft year.
