I really don't think so. I think they are more than happy with having those 3 guys at C. Not to mention the Backlund Frolik Tkachuck line has been their most consistent line all year. Backlund has been the Flames MVP.

I really don't think so. I think they are more than happy with having those 3 guys at C. Not to mention the Backlund Frolik Tkachuck line has been their most consistent line all year. Backlund has been the Flames MVP.

And as far as the return, I guess that's the tricky part with the Flames being in a playoff spot I'm sure they would be looking for something that improves their roster right now, can't see them trading a 20 goal C with one more year left on his very affordable contract for picks and mid level prospects

Yeah he'e been unreal. For the reasons you mention above he's probably not getting traded. The only way it would happen is if they could get a young stud at the wing.
