Mike Sorrentino
The reality star— best known as “The Situation” — sought treatment for his painkiller addiction in 2012. And on June 17, 2014, he was arrested for assault after he got into an altercation in a tanning salon. A few months later, in September, he was indicted on tax fraud charges.

Well besides Griffith right? - mykokes
Even before Griffith was claimed, it started the week after Leipsic and Kapanen went down, went to the all star game and has been playing great ever since. |

The other D that has caught the eye of the Leafs is Holl. I don't know if he will be given a call up, right hand shot, good skater.
You're right about Kirby, been the best forward since Leipsic and Kapanen went down. - LeafMan
I don't remember seeing him much in camp. But in the AHL he has been very steady all season as a def. dman. |

3 solid lines. But personally Doz, I liked line 4 a lot more with Gauthier over Smith.
Would love to see Rychel, Gauthier and Leivo on the fourth line. I just can't bring myself to like Martin.
And I don't buy the whole need vets thing. The team only needs one Dad, and his name is Babsocks! - mykokes
i think you are getting close to what they see in the future... thing is... the leafs are already a very rookie laden team... let this first round of kids get some experience so they can provide some leadership when the second wave gets promoted |

hyman isnt on that line to put up points
thats not his job. - Dozzer
I agree with you that hyman is not there to put up points. This team is still very much a work in progress - the third period colapses are glaring. Moving forward, the the next step : we will have to start looking at who will play with Matthews.
It is so impressive that Matthews has done what he has done with two unheralded rookies as opposed to Marner and Laine playing with skilled veterans.
The best line in hockey right now is McDavid, Eberle and Lucic
(Relative Corsi: 11.2 percent, +25.6 shot attempts per 60) by far.
If we want to see similar deveopement of the elite talent that Matthews has, he will have to play with some experienced scorers, and hopefully someone that can pulverize anyone that touches Matthews. He takes way too many shots to the head for my liking.

I think they need some size and muscle on the 4th line. I like Martin for what he brings. Would love to have Reeves from St Louis. No once would touch the kids with him around. |

While I doubt I watched more than 20 minutes of the show in total, I was fascinated at the time by the whole pop culture phenomenon and attention surrounding it.
To this day, I am fascinated by these "reality" shows that are completely contrived, yet people still watch them religiously. |

oh i agree 100% that his wingers can be improves upon... that being said... the players who eventually replace them will still have to play the same kind of game under babcock.... they will just be better at it

while martin doesnt get a lot of ice time opposition teams know he will be the one being sent over the boards if they start to take liberties with the young guys... he serves a purpose and is very good at it |

I just bought a softcover novel for 20$. Netflix is 8$ a month. This is the problem with society these days. (also not enough book sharing) |

When you dig into pop-culture it's crazy what kind of dark poop can come out of fandom/emulation of these shows/movies/music. Some examples:
Movies: A bunch of women/girls in Asia killed themselves when Jackie Chan got married.
TV: 16 and Pregnant is still going strong somehow. There are many, many young girls in the US (particularly the south) who have been getting themselves pregnant in an attempt to get on the show.
Music: Justin Bieber fans have been fooled badly twice. Firstly, a large number of people were cutting their wrists for a reason I can't remember that related to Bieber. Secondly, a large number of his fans shaved their heads bald in a showing of solidarity with Bieber because of the cancer they thought he had. Both instances were elaborate trolling. |

I was hoping Ivanka would be there for the Trump meetings. There's no way she would let her daddy bully PM Studmuffin. - 1979AD
I was hoping that she would show up just so that we'd get photos like this |
