Despite being a first time offender Nyquist deserves more than just five games.

That was vicious and malicious, and could have EASILY gone very wrong. It's time DoPS used a few of these more serious incidents as examples to send a message, otherwise this garbage will just continue and eventually someone will be seriously injured, or worse.

Im confident, Nyquist did not mean to do what had happened, but you still cannot be wreckless so I think he is worthy of a suspension. The fact of what he got assessed, Spurgeon came back to play and being a first time offender, I suspect it will result in a 3-5 game suspension.

Good. Leivo did what corrado didn’t. he was patient and made the most of an opportunity when it finally came; and stole a job.

When marchenko gets his chance, he needs to do the same thing if he wants to stay in the lineup.

Funny you mention that, I see many similarities between the two. Leivo just has a better shot, and Hyman is a harder worker. A few years back I thought Leivo could slot in beside Bozak and Lupul. They looked good together.
