Even the TSN guys are questioning that penalty shot call. Don't know what that ref was thinking.
Oh well. Still up by two. That means we should be able to hold onto the lead for at least the first 5 minutes of the third period.

he got crosschecked to the ice after a clean hard hit, then again when he got up and in the face of the guy that did that

I've always thought that referees should have to hold a quick Q & A with the media after the coaches do. There should be some semblance of accountability. If the NHL doesn't at least call that guy for a review then they can't pretend to care about fair play.

In all honesty it's ridiculous. There have been times that the leafs are on the receiving end of some gifts by the refs but you know there is a makeup call coming in the next 5 minutes.

Just get the call right in the first place and stop calling bullpoop. It's the makeup calls that drive me nuts. Or if a team gets 3 pp in a row, you know the next call will be against that team because they've be had to many pp in a row.
