which statement? that his production is better thank okposo this year? thats not what this is about though. Okposo has a history of being productive overall. Kane has a history if disappearing and being a liability when he's on the ice not scoring. Again i understand wanting to keep him but 7 (frank)ing years? Do we even need to offer that? This is what id tell the other team im trying to get a top 4 d from. 5v5 scoring for everyone will get naturally better as the defence and coaching improves. A team this inconsistent cant be locking up inconsistent players long term.

I may have soured on him but im fairly confident Murray won't pursue this. I think he understands the big investment on D has to be about as sure a thing as you can get.

I said big investment, not college FA and yea im surprised. Thought Guhle-Nelson couldve been a decent bottom pairing.

foligno, never will be a top 6 guy
carrier, IMO peaks at the 3rd line
moulson, yuk
ennis, yuk
if you move larsson to lw, IMO too slow

so even if you move asplund to lw, and nylander to lw, and they both turn out decent, you have no vet that can play top 6


plus this team has been slow as hell the last 5 years, moving kane makes us slower

Watched the Okposo post-game, he's saying the same thing as Lehner.

Now watching the Bylsma presser. This guy hasn't lost the room. Sounds to me like he never had the room to begin with.

Still not behind Byslma but to me it seems like we have a bunch of guys who want to run 'n gun and have decided to play their own game.

Jack, ROR, Risto, Sam and co.

Moulson, Ennis, Foligno are a lost cause at this point as well as Gorges, Bogo, Franson, Etc...

Big changes this off-season and now I'm not so sure the coach is even close to being on the hot seat.
