My sister bought one of those. She thought it was a 7-seater. It was not.

I've not seen much of the Q7 tbh... and it's Mrs Lums that wants the Cayenne.


I prefer cars that won't run me a Benjamin Franklin every time I want to fill the (frank)er up (which would be every damn week with that thing!!!)

Never mind the gas. I worked with a guy who had one and said oil changes were a few hundred bucks and just wait until it's time for new brakes.

True Wedgie story:

A few years ago (God, more than a few years ago!), my next door neighbour and her boyfriend drove down to somewhere in Pennsylvania - they were each buying BMWs. They had done the research, and they were each going to save thousands of dollars by buying in the US (yeah, not sure why they couldn't do it in Buffalo).

Anyhoo, they go down there, each buy a BMW. On the way home, driving on the I-90 on south shore of Lake Ontario, she hits ice and flips her car. Luckily, she is unhurt, but the car is a write-off.

Six weeks later, the boyfriend is driving through an intersection and some idiot t-bones him. His car is also a write-off.

Yeah - the Golf is just a bit too small for what I'd like... mainly as no (frank)er would be able to fit behind me while I was driving

Holy poop. That's some poop luck. If I had to guess, which I don't but will anyway, without doing any research, I would say PA over NY due to state sales taxes. I know PA has no taxes on kids clothes, maybe more favorable taxes for auto sales?
