Getting a car shipped from Toronto to where we are near Seattle would cost a fortune. Plus I'm sure that there'd be additional fees shipping Canada to USA.

It was genuinely enjoyable watching Anders7n steal the Leafs a point last night. Conversely ... it was unpleasant watching Tanner's boy play turnstile last night.

I agree that watching the prospects develop is also good... but I really think its time to sacrifice a couple of those prospects for an upgrade of the D.

Maybe Kapanen (obviously when healthy) , Bracco and Brooks are possible trade chips. Bracco would be interesting to the Islanders ... maybe a something that returns a Pelech or a Pulock. Although, if you believe LeBrun's spew... Leafs would have to include about 3 first round picks to get anyone to take JvR.

DO NOT assume you can just import a car from Canada into the US.

There are a helluva lot of non-tariff barriers that prevent you from doing so.

In 2000, I wasn't allowed to bring my 1996 Honda Civic into the US, because it didn't have dual airbags. It didn't matter that I could buy a new car in the States that didn't have dual airbags - those were the rules.

Similarly, I knew a guy who had to spend money to "bilingualize" the car he brought from the US to Canada - all safety stickers (caution: objects in mirror are closer than they appear) had to be in both languages, etc.

Yeah, we got lucky enough with our Jeep as it was a newer one and had the odometer in both Kms/Miles...
