Was this game dull or exciting? Without the graph, I can't tell how I felt about the game.

As for Schultz, I'd resign him. I think he really wants to stay in Pittsburgh, and while he won't sign for pennies on the dollar, he'd likely take less than market price to stay there.

*** Scans posting to see where Sestito was mentioned...... not found.

Good answer. Of course Sestito wouldn't help because the refs would escort him to the penalty box immediately as he stepped on the ice (though our captain has said more than once that he likes having Sestito in the lineup. I wonder why?).

Remember the season-ending game in Philly last year when Schenn kneeed Murray in the head and concussed him.... and the ref immediately went over to the PENGUIN bench and warned Sullivan & Sestito (!).

No, it's not up to a guy who isn't even on the roster. It's up to the players on the ice, the ones who actually take a regular shift, to get the job done. Pussy hockey isn't winning hockey in the long run when players get long-term injuries at the rate of one per game.

He has a good point, the Penguins, as a whole, need to step up and let other teams know they won't be pushed around, like they did to Philly in 2012 and Boston in 2013.

Why would I order buffalo wings if I'm just going to mask the taste with those devil sauces?

They were my first concert, when I was 10. I saw Pink Floyd at 11, Red Hot Chili Peppers at 12, and then I discovered punk rock and my musical taste went to hell.

See.. to me its not masking, its just adding more depth. Like the Penguins acquiring Kulikov for defensive depth.

I agree he is starting to become an everyday nhler finally , but to say he sasnt holding sid come on he was a passenger on the kids back were u watching the game with beer goggles :
- Jordy8

It was still a penalty since he got his hand around him at the end, but it was pretty soft. 90% of that he was using his stick or body to press sid, only at the end when he corkscrewed down was there the start of his hand causing a hold around sids waste. If the Refs are going to call ticky tacky stuff like that early on, then keep it consistent all game. That was a soft call with the amount of other stuff that they started to let slide later on. It was only 2-0 at the time.

Nice, nice. I saw RHCP at the Bell Centre in Montreal on their Stadium Arcadium tour and it was absolutely insane.

I can't get into RHCP past One Hot Minute, and even that album is a stretch. I liked the pissed off guys from California who used to run around stage in their underwear. Once Anthony Keidis dyed his hair bleach blonde and they started changing their sound to a more radio pop sound, I lost interest. And once they "played" prerecorded music at the Super Bowl, I was done. But hey, more power to you if you like it.

I think bigger question with Schultz isn't if we should resign him. Its the expansion draft.

The issue of Fleury and the expansion draft is a non-issue. We were always going to trade fleury next summer because he's not a back-up and we can't pay Fleury salary now that murray now has a real bonafide contract kicking in next year and not a 800k a year deal.

Maata - Schultz. That's the question. I don't think we want to protect 4D. Maybe the answer is a quick maatta trade following the season. Maatta for Duchene might make sense at that point (not sure how colorado is positioned for the draft).

Schultz is an awful pick by LVS since I don't think they are allowed to trade guys they pick. You don't want a defenseman who has 1 year of control and sucked in Edmonton when he played on a bad team. But if we don't protect him he will be the best available player we are exposing.

I like all of the albums John Frusciante was involved in. Stadium Arcadium is no exception.

Really enjoyed One Hot Minute too.

See, I think that Uplift Mofo Part Plan and Mother's Milk are their 2 best albums. Aside from Higher Ground, they don't get any radio play, and they still have a lot of piss and vinegar in them (both good toppings for buffalo wings). BSSM, obviously, was the turning point, but even the hits on that have an edge to them.

Paying Schultz is going to be interesting. At first I was thinking $3.75/$4M would be his contract and maybe that's correct. However, while he's clearly not going to win the Norris, he's going to be a finalist just based on points if he keeps up with his point-pace which is currently 60.

Someone refresh my memory: Pens can't recall Sprong until his season is over, correct?

Justin Schultz is a nice player, but he will not be a Norris finalist. I'd be shocked if he even gets one top-5 vote.
