well yeah..
somehow the NHL managed to make the game quicker but still aren't scoring more goals.. I think a lot of players from the "dead puck" era are some of the best of all time..
Sid should be top 5 all time when hes done. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Totally agree. And, they are all so humble, they would say the other 4 are better.. |

Crazy skills he uses, through the legs, behind his back off the boards to his stick. Love the way he plays. Marner is a beast too, but OMG am I glad to have a big #1 center finally. - bixll
and like Babs said they can both drive a line offensively, tougher for teams to matchup against. The team is just a joy to watch this season, if they make playoffs I will be ecstatic and if not, bummer but the skill is there, solid foundation for the next few years.

They also have a secret weapon.. They can put them on a line together if they need to.
I wonder if Kap or Bracco will improve the offense even more next year.. if thats even possible. |

Poor Reimer ..was a good goalie for the Leafs...but an average old backup is better to some fans - senstroll
It wasn't anything to do with Reimers play. Just his chaotic, battle for the puck playstyle. |

He's actually blocking more shots than he ever has. Boucher expects more defense. |

Bracco will probably be AHL bound. He hasn't been as good or very good since going to Windsor. Kap should make the team though. |

Tyson Barrie -27
I saw a few on this site trading Marner for that stiff! - winsix
I'd add him for the right price.
Reilly, Zaitsev, Barrie, Gardiner, Nielsen, Dermott looks fine to me. |

I have met him, he was exactly as you would expect Sid to be. Humble, cordial, polite. Spent about 1.5 hours with him, we were buying clothes. Me a suit, he bought 16 pairs of pants.
They start with a size 38 for him and tailor them into a 33 inch waist. - bixll
Thats pretty cool man...
The only NHLer's i get to hang around are the ones who have a cottage near my aunts island in Muskoka... Lindros, Clarke (never met him but see him seadooing), Tucker etc... Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel also live nearby...
The first player i met was Mike Johnson haha... It was just afrer his rookie year and he was in Port Carling at the G&CC.. i was so shy.. i could hardly speak. |

I remember saying how I would love to get burns on the leafs if he made it to FA.
Some people freaked saying he was overrated.
WOW what a season so far. |
