I'm shocked people on twitter distorted what was actually said.



This is the coach calling a player who plays 17 ES minutes a game a 2nd pairing defenseman, and positively gushing about the potential of Ghost. And yet it's supposed to be terrible and controversial, like Hakstol committed the next Bowling Green Massacre.

Oh I definitely took it with a grain of salt but to be fair there were like 5 sessions. He could've said it in another.

Speaking of World Champions, I watched the movie Red Army last night. I highy recommend checking it out if you haven't. Mostly centers of Fetisov, and details how much guys loved playing for the Red Army team at first and how it all went to poop when Tikhonov took over.

My favorite quotable from last night was when a person actually read aloud all of Mac's advanced stats over the last 2 seasons to ask Hakstol about the disconnect and how the team was worse on the ice with him, and Hakstol said paraphrasing: "Throw those numbers out the window. I'll take him on my team any day."

I think last action movie I saw and really enjoyed was the 'Equalizer' with Denzel.
