This is the guy that won fastest skater at the Canucks skills comp. Speed is not his issue - CanuckDon
It's called WD. Who prefers to have used Biega and Larsen ahead of him. |

At least they are showing good Corrado Management, can't have Toronto picking up Chaput and having him sit in the press box for a season and a half. - belcherbd

I just don't see it. Burrows is a 4th liner on a bad team. Why would a good team have any interest?? Also, he isn't exactly popular around the league. - CanuckDon
We are just going to have to agree to disagree. He is not a scorer but is a time waster, poop disturber and general pain in the ass.
Yes, he is not popular but I think he falls under the category of players who you hate but would love on your team. Maybe "love" is too strong a word.

What a piss off Austin Matthews is. I was really hoping he was somehow more of a bust than this, he looks like he might be better than most even thought. Hopefully toronto F's it up somehow and he wants out. Same with McJesus. |

You can rest assured safe in the knowledge Matthews, Marner and Nylander are all busts. |

I spent my teens in parksville and couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Did one year university at Nanaimo and had to go travelling for a few years to get it out of my system.
Spent my 20s in Vancouver, and that's what i consider home.
Now, i'd love to return someday.
Vancouver is insane though.
Victoria doesn't seem far behind.
I like the idea of Sooke (but the wife doesn't).
And now Auckland is officially the 4th most expensive city in the world to buy a house (behind HK, Sydney and Vancouver), but at least we got one here. |

The 'burbs around Victoria are pretty decent, a lot o dropoff if you're willing to live in Langford or Saanich. IMO well worth it.

Yeah but it would be Washington's 2nd, 62nd OA at this time. - A_SteamingLombardi
Any second round pick would be nice, on that note any extra picks would be nice, im sure skille could net at least a 5th with the way he plays some nights. And a fifth doesnt seem like much but in 2015 we traded Diaz for a 5th that turned into Gaudette and alot are pumped up for him |

For a building team I think those 2nd rounders they traded for Vey, Baertschi and Gudbranson are important. The 2nd they traded for Sutter is really irrelevant because they only moved down five or so spots.
Listen I know a lot of people love this Gudbranson kid, but to me, he wasn't great this year. Ya he had a couple good fights but who cares, he didn't play that well. He's young and he's a dman, so I'm good with that one.
The Baertschi and Linden Vey ones I could have done without, but that's water under the bridge now isn't tit.
Just use the picks that you have to select kids....please - LeftCoaster
guddy injured his wrist early in the season, the first month I believe and tried playing through it. |

Once teams figure him out he will struggle, mcdavid has been figured out now he has to change his game like shoot more and I am not sold on his shot. |

He's as accurate as any shooter in the league at 19 years old. You can be as 'not sold' as you want, the kids got 24 goals in 50 games . He's already facing top d pairings. I agree, come playoffs we will see how well he can adapt to nuanced gameplans if they make it, but he's the real deal. Bo would be the third line center on that team and I love me some Bo. I hope in a few years we have a one-two up the middle like that. I'm hoping we draft top-5 and steal some great center |

No doubt, he's the real deal and i think will be the consensus #1 in years to come (as opposed to Laine, who i thought looked better at the start of the year).
