Last 7 games since the Washington game his save % is .934, so yeah, he has rebounded nicely from that game and that 1 game drastically sways an 8 game sample size.

Also as a side note don't forget that Washington game was only his 2nd game back from injury. So the Ottawa game and the Washington game were not very good performance, but if you look at it from the perspective of missing 2 weeks having 2 games to shake off the rust and then getting back into form, I feel like that makes more sense than assuming he is choking because he has been the primary starter.

Pens winning games in a tight metro division is more important than showcasing a goalie having a below average season to try and trade him.

You say that like Fleury can't win games. I agree winning is most important. I trust Silly and GMJR. I'm just saying the issue I see in what they are doing.

Sure, he can win games, but is he the Penguins best option to win games? Not anymore (at least if you look at sully's decisions on starting goalies, you can see he believes Murray is). I personally don't see an issue with it

The issue is that at the current path it looks like the pens will have 3.795 mil on cap hit for Fleury for 4 years without him on the team Due to buyout.
