I was cheering for them to win and was not upset at all that they lost.

This style and core is boring as hell

Miller, Vrbata, and Eriksson are issues for me and IMO indicate a conflict in team direction. I think Eriksson was JBs 'option D' when others fell through. The term of the contract doesn't make sense to me and was probably forced on JB by the agent to get the deal done.

I honestly question team direction. It is like the GM wants one thing , The owner wants another . The president is the buffer and the coach doesn't take direction from anyone and continues to dance to his own mysterious beat.

If Vegas obtain a player in the expansion draft can they turn around and trade that player right away or do they have to keep that player for a certain amount of time?

I don't question the direction. They gave the Sedin's one more shot with Eriksson and it's not working. Draft and develop is the future of the team. Unless Aquilini interferes again

The draft is the highlight of the hockey season for me. I just hope we draft some quick, skilled forwards this year so we have some fun hockey to look forward to.

I wouldn't hate signing Miller if it was 1 or 2 years...Any of the others I would have a meltdown.
- CanuckDon

It's time for Markstrom. The team isn't going anywhere (playoff wise) for the next few seasons, let them win or lose with Markstrom as the No.1 or trade him if they plan on extending Miller. One more year of the Sedins ( whom I admire & respect greatly) and then we start a new culture.

Marky and Demko no . Marky and a back up okay.

Don't ruin Demko to have him fit right now.

- VANTEL

Oh I hear you I'm all about waiting on Demko, just concerned on bringing Miller back when possibly we could get what we are getting out of him for half the cost...we'll see.

Do you see the team being any better next year with the Twins and Loui and an extended Miller?

That is the part that IRKs me . It is not really then a one more shot , it is a two more shot.

It is kind of hard to look forward to next year when you realize it will be much like this year , when maybe you could have done something about it in the offseason

This is exactly it. 4 different outlooks...ownership-MNGT-President and Coach. throw the country club into the mix and you have 5.

I wonder if coaches play certain players just to demonstrate to management that they need more to work with if you want wins.

WD's thought process goes something like this...

You're sending me Larsen as my 5th/6th Dman? Are you (frank)ing kidding me? OK, I'll play the kid and we'll see how you like the results. (frank) this guy for sending me this poop. The (frank)ing guy's guaranteeing my pink slip. bumhole.

Management said the same thing when they signed Miller. That's a stupid reason to make these moves.

I am beyond bored of the on ice product. I have no interest in watching our stale core. I am just anti-tank. So no extensions

What can the team do? Sedin's aren't going anywhere. No, expect more of the same next season. A bubble team that doesn't play exciting hockey. We just need to tough it out for a couple more years

I know .

Just hard to look forward to next year. You are correct the draft is what it is all about the next two years.

Hopefully Boeser is signed and he provides a spark...but yes, next year will probably suck

I would be more inclined to say "could be" instead of "will be" but that is just hope speaking.

The win/loss results might be the same but we might have a completely different roster. If somehow they can get a homerun at the draft they might just change gears.

I can get behind a bunch of young kids fighting their way through a season. Might be over their heads but at least it would be entertaining. Very similar to when Burke took over this team.

I don't care how many wins they get next year. Change, a hard working group and some offense and I'll be pleased
