What? You wrote half a post

Since Liljegren is considering to be a first round pick. I will use only first round picks from the previous 5 years. I'm going to need a bit more time.

No you wouldn't!

I've never seen you pissed once at any move the canucks have recently made. Maybe once at Burrows getting the 'A' ( ) but that's it. You have been very pro canucks since JB took the reins. You would rationalize it.

- bloatedmosquito

The only move I could rationalize is Miller....I want change, trust me

Gawd, he looks like he is on fentenyl or meth.

I was optimistic about Larson in the off-season...but he has been a disaster. Can't win 'em all...

I had a dealer once who really paid attention to all the moving parts that most of us are unaware of, and he put himself into depression because the truth was just a bit too heavy if you know what I mean.

I don't agree with the statement usually, but sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I am beyond bored of the on ice product. I have no interest in watching our stale core. I am just anti-tank. So no extensions

I was cheering for them to win and was not upset at all that they lost.

This style and core is boring as hell

Sometimes an organization just needs to hit the reset button, and I don't form that opinion because of last nights game, which I didn't watch. I do so because I've listened to Benning over the past two and a half years, he's a bumbling idiot!! He's a yes man who's simply pandering to the Aquilini's because he wanted to be a GM so bad.

That said, Benning didn't give the Sedin's or Burrows those contracts, he inherited them. However, if they ever extend any of those three, or Miller for that matter....I'm OUT

I know that.

Listening to people female dog about the product day in and day out is tiresome. Good to have some positivity around here because you wouldn't get any from me.

Saying that, I am starting to get interested in the upcoming draft. So much more important and interesting than the season/on ice product right now. Can't get here fast enough.

And even that is super risky. Any moment he could revert back to the Muffin Man. He has played well this year off/on but there is just no way he can keep that up for another 2-3 seasons. We'd almost be better off rolling with Marky until Demko is ready...but that's risky too.

I agree with most of this. I do find the I'm out a little over the edge but understand the frustration.

We would be crazy to think JB controlls the team ,same as Gillis . A lot of media point fingers at a meddling owner.

I honestly don't see Benning as a cycle style guy and I am sure he is counting his days until he can unload some expiring contracts.

With the signing of Eriksson and questionable draft picks you can see the media making life difficult for JB.

We do need to be patient though.
I am sure the young guys will get better and maybe a few prospect surprises .I am not a fan of letting contracts expire but I will just have to wait.

The draft is the highlight of the hockey season for me. I just hope we draft some quick, skilled forwards this year so we have some fun hockey to look forward to.

Well...if Markstrom isn't ready we need a vet until Demko is ready. I don't really care if it's Miller or somebody else.

But what's the risk? A few more losses, a poor GAA, and a high team goals against stat?

Marky and Demko no . Marky and a back up okay.

Don't ruin Demko to have him fit right now.

Miller, Vrbata, and Eriksson are issues for me and IMO indicate a conflict in team direction. I think Eriksson was JBs 'option D' when others fell through. The term of the contract doesn't make sense to me and was probably forced on JB by the agent to get the deal done.

This is why flipping Miller to Dallas for one of their goalies and a pick or prospect makes sense. Buys another year for Demko to play in the minors.

But I get the feeling that the Canucks want to extend Miller. I just hope it's no longer than 1 year... but I seriously doubt Miller would go for that anyways

Very few D playing in the men's league. Adding in D that were playing in the junior leagues.

Jacob Larsson
Hampus Lindholm.

I'd take a Lindholm.
