So a kid playing against kids is a better bet then a kid, who at sixteen, was playing a top 4 role against men?

The reason he did not make the WJC is because:
A) he was sick.
B) he was sick.
C) Dahlin is amazing but guess what, he hasn't even played a single game in the SHL yet where-as at his age, Liljegrin was...

He wasn't sick...he was back playing. Dahlin has way more skill it's not even close. Its the Franking SEL for frank sakes. Rodin is their best player

I usually don't read Botch but his headline caught my interest today.

I didn't find it too critical but it makes you realize where we stand. Makita's rant isn't far off what Botch was writing .

This team does need a makeover . Yes there are young players coming up and we need to be patient, but there is a lot of deadwood still remaining here that needs to be cleared.

Hansen is an interesting topic. I love the guy and he is one of the best players on the Canucks. That is the problem. He should be a third liner but he is the best of a bad crop.

As Canucks fans we get too attached to mediocrity .47 years of failure has blinded us.

There is a lot of heavy lifting to be done but it will come.

Mainstream media is now one giant propaganda machine for the deep state. The election, the wars, the Russiaphobia... all giant misinformation campaigns. People think their news down there isn't state funded but outlets who have the direct ear of the WhiteHouse gets funding from the CIA. The Washington Post took two $200M grants from the CIA in 2015. They are the biggest criers over "state sponsored" news outlets that they call fake news. Fact checking CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WP has become a fun game on facebook. If it has to do with their wars, Russia or Trump... good chance it's misinformation over fact.... way more times. Even if it's a simple quote, you catch them completely re-writing it. And East Allepo... that was so tilted. It was just more of the same like when they pushed WMD down our throats so they could invade Iraq back in 2003.

I started watching Democracy Now and al Jazeera news. Still bias, but a totally different perspective and a bit more factual detail than MSM.

Canadian news is become unwatchable. Take a look at the difference between French CBC and English CBC. The french are getting news, english are getting entertainment.

A couple players that have been drafted that were playing against men. Auston Matthews, Patrik Laine, Jesse Puljujravi, Sebastian Aho, Mikko Rantanen, William Nylander, Alexander Barkov, Elias Lindholm, Rasmus Ristolianan.
I'd say that's a pretty good list even if some stayed for a year longer or came over the AHL.

This group sucks badly, last night Megna was the best player on the ice, Larsen is a disaster, give him to Vegas free of charge. The Sedins need to be smacked up the side of the head and then split up, Stecher, Tryamkin, Tanev, Edler wouldn't be 4-8 on the Sharks let alone 1-4 on the Canucks..

Look at Syria for example. All the news about Assad using Sarin on his people in 2012. After the UN investigation comes up with zero proof it was Assad, and all the evidence points at the rebels, they continue to say it was Assad. The trajectory was from Al-Nusra held territory. They found the location they were fired from...in Al-Nusra territory. They then found two storage locations... in Al-Nusra held territory. The report admits there is no smoking gun but that doesn't change that there is no evidence whats so ever that Assad did that and let's be honest... an attack like that doesn't help Assad, it helps the so-called rebels. Still today... all the mainstream news lies about it and says Assad did it. Complete fabrication and not even backed by 1% fact. Any guess on what the report conclusion states about the aid convoy that was bombed allegedly by Russia/Assad a couple of months ago? No surprise, the UN is saying exactly the opposite of what western mainstream is saying. Just like when they were pushing for war in 2003.
