Sounds very similar to last season.

I think Van can do better by trading away some players and get somewhere around the 5th pick. I'm okay with that, just need another pick around the 20 mark too. Columbus also has to give us their 2nd round pick.

It is strange draft.year for sure. Hoping we get some of.those guys with our acquired 2nds. Maybe bundle a couple picks to get into 1zt for a Cody Glass/Isaac Ratcliffe type of players.
I am assuming we get CBJ pick plus maybe something through a trade before draft.

If lijlegrin falls out of the top 4 i'd take him. If Van is drafting in the 5-6 spot. A lot more skilled forwards next season it looks like. If Van was trading someone like Hansen or Tanev, something with term i'd look at getting some picks for the 2018 draft. Looks like the Auston Matthews, Patrik Laine type players are in that draft.
