I don't know man, those slimy Bowman's only got us 3 lousy cups. Should have been 6 - JRoenick97
And the Cups they won they should have swept every series on the way to winning.

With @Brinksy97's (Debrincat) 2 goals tonight, he has passed Brad Boyes as the Otters' all-time leading goal scorer with 142 career goals!

Bowmans Bickell contract costs the hawks TT.
Anyone who thinks Kruger is worth $3million a year should be fired today!
The Danualt & Ladd trades were HORRIBLE!!
Seabrook & Crawford contracts Horrible!!!
The Bowmans are the problem!
One of best players in the World #19 playing with SCUBS for 2 years now. Just a hoorid job by the Bowmans!! - Goalie-33
We get it...you don't like Bowman...worst GM ever.
Try the B-side because this one is scratched.
FYI...some of us have been following the Hawks since the 60's and consider the recent decade to be rather successful...and I'm including Tallon. |

Anything less than an 82-0 regular season and a 16-0 playoffs is a complete disaster. |

I am not much of a scout ,but I wonder if Debrincat can progress anywhere close to the way Marner has with the leafs . They are similar in size and age ,and there numbers are close . It may b speed that Marner has to burn , Debrincat has a real nack for scoring goals .. I am interested to see how he works out . Hope he is not dealt for anything less then Duchene or Landeskog maybe JVR .. |

Is the reason why the Blackhawks are looking for another defenseman is that TVR is a right-handed shot and if they traded him without getting another right-handed shot defenseman this would only leave them with two righthanded D Seabrook and Rosy |

Agreed he doesn't guarantee it. But he helps in a lot of ways.
Hanzal can play wing. Like Duchene. - John Jaeckel
or you get Duchene for Kruger and play Hanzel as a bottom 6 center. It'd be nice to have him to match up against some of the bigger Western Conference teams. |

Kind of off-topic, but did I notice that during the All-Star weekend, the hardest-shot contest had almost if not all right-handed shooters. I know this topic has popped up before, but is there an even break-out of left/right handed shooters in the league? |

I don't like the idea of dumping Debrincat and Forsling, but Duchene is a legit top 6 player right now. He's got elite speed and hands. Neither of those guys are guaranteed to do anything, so if that's the cost, you make that move. You make it today. Cap sell off in the summer. - JRoenick97
The hope is that Duchene is a piece that can stay at least through his current contract or longer.
I wonder if Stan has a deal lined up for Crawford for this summer. He seems confident that he'll be able to make the team's cap hit to fit under the cap before next season. |

Yep. It also helps that he can play center/wing. |

I'd like to see...
1) A deal for Duchene
Or
2) A deal for Hanzal AND Reider
But that's just me. |

Did you say wait until offseason?
Yeah lets keep watching the hot garbage they have been giving Toews to play with for the last 2 years even longer.
If a deal of Kruger Hartman & Forslin for Duch is out there it should be made ASAP!!
Kruger overpaid 3rd liner for 12 mins a game. Hartman good upsude will never be a top 6. Forslin good upside but not a top 4 guy.
Or Hjmalarsson & Motte/Schamltz to TOR for JVR.
Bowmans are the Worst! - Goalie-33
You just named every reason for Colorado NOT to make that Kruger trade

Totally on the money! Was it Stan who had the first overall pick in 2007 and totally went out on a limb to draft Kaner? Yeah, didn't think so.
Was it Stan that had the third pick in 2006 and reached on Toews after the Blues and Pens made their excellent picks? If you said yes you'd be wrong again.
If Stan were somehow able to get Malkin for Kruger, Dezi and a 6th with the Pens retaining half his salary, I'd consider him a middling GM at best.

It's been a pretty good one hasn't it?
With the Cubs winning this year, all of Chicago's major sports teams have won hardware. The Bears having won the first and now not having won since are sort of the sadsack team in town.
But I'm with you. As enjoyable as most of the 80's and early '90s were for Hawk fans it was ultimately unsatisfying. |
