Looks like Cullen is getting the first shot. - cory7321
This makes sense due to how effective that 4th line as been plus Crosby and Cullen have looked good before. I'd still like Wilson to get a long look there... not like a one or two periods look, more like a 3 to 5 games look and see how it goes.

Cullen in Shearys spot is a terrible idea. Need someone who can score some goals for f sakes. - Dcoms
Cullen can score, can still skate and above all else has an awesome hockey IQ. Very smart player. It also allows Sid to be more aggressive on faceoffs because if he gets ejected from taking it Cullen , who's a good draw man, can slide in to take the FO.

Edit: mtl looking for a 4th line center per Lebrun...
How bout fehr for a 4th or 5th. - nh4442
Id rather have Fehr for forward depth than a 4th or 5th round pick, especially with how that 4th line has been looking. Now, if it clears his 2.0 off the books to make room to snag a d-man then I'd be more interested.

For this year yes. But I'd like to clear his cap hit for next year.
I guess you may be right. We shall see. I just thought at 40 and coming off an injury it would be tough for him. - powerhouse
Billy G excelled on Sid's wing, and he wasn't exactly fleet of foot. I think more so, as long as the player is smart, that's the biggest thing a linemate for Sid needs.

you are probably right as well. I thought in my mind that Hagelin would work well in Sheary's absence. He definitely has the wheels.
