If those fancy stats were so good, they would no longer have a need for scouts....
Just sayin, the stats don't say if you are playing injured, or sick.... So many factors that are not considered... Watch the games is the best way IMO. |

@NHL public relations
DYK? @MapleLeafs are first NHL team w/ 3 different Rookie of the Month honorees in one season (Nylander - Oct; Matthews - Dec; Marner - Jan) https://t.co/hkvpVB2TN3

Probably none of the other kids will make it on the list, possibly Zaitsev but doubt it. He has been so solid, just doesn't put up huge points but he is absolutely our second best D man.

Feb was probably the winter olympics
More likely even since 2010 also has february missing
April likely because there's only games until the ~ 10th (lockout season went to end of april) |

That must be it. Oct/Nov/Dec 12/13 was the lockout, and then there's nothing for Feb of the 09/10 season. It all makes sense now. |

James Tanner thinks that Brett Hull was a better hockey player than Yzerman or Sakic.
I can't even think what to type next... |

Wow, but I would need to reserve judgment until I can see their respective HERO Burger charts. |

I see Gardiner had one of those games where he thought he was on the opposing team.
Matthews and Marner must have lit up when they got to play together (Matthews especially considering who hes had to play with all year). Wonder if they will keep it together? I doubt it, but it would be nice. |

That is the classic scoring winger against the top center.. Matthews / Laine. Or Sid /OV
I would always take the center. |

I even think that argument flatters Hull.
Could he score goals? Hell, yes.
Could he do anything else? Hell, no. He couldn't skate. He never backchecked. He never forechecked. He never bodychecked.
He's probably the greatest example of a "one-dimensional player." |

If the NHL pulls their support, the dream might finally be real! - AdamFrench
Maybe at the World Cup of Hockey.
They'll make team of depth players, like the young guns but we can call them deflated tires.
