A Tanev trade would be the best. Get some decent assets back that aren't injury prone. - kaptaan
Keep him and deal gudbranson and edler after the expansion draft for draft picks. Larsen and sbisa at the deadline.
Tryamkin has made gudbranson irrelevant, hes already better.
I like sbisa this year(funny i know) but he will get picked up during expansion so might as well take a 4th or something for him at the deadline.
Next years D line up:
Hutton Tanev
Tryamkin Stetcher
OJ UFA
Pedan Subban/Neill
I know Hutton isnt a top pairing guy but might as well go young and maximize assets I dont think this group would be that much of a drop from what we currently have.
Id also deal Hansen, Burrows and any other of the Skille types that can easily be replaced.
Sedin sedin Ericksson
Sven bo boeser
Granlund sutter rodin(if he ever plays again lol)
JV Patrick?? Labate
Trade Miller at the deadline and resign him to a one year deal in the off season.
I know this wont happen but wishful thinking.. Id assume we loose Gaunce if this is the case, who cares. I see this as best way to maximize picks and leave nothing for LV in expansion.

Tramps has changed the look of the D, that's for sure but I think trading Gudbranson would be a terrible thing to do. While yes, he may not be having a stellar season, I have always thought it takes a little time for D-man who play in the East to get used to the more physical Western Conference. Besides, he is worth the investment.
But I agree Miller needs out at the deadline. By then we will be 6 or 7 points back at best and there will be a market for him. |

Very Interesting:
"Golden Knights GM George McPhee will be permitted to execute trades and transactions ahead of the March 1 trade deadline, so long as owner Bill Foley satisfies the requirements to officially make Las Vegas as home of the NHL’s 31st franchise in the days prior".
"For instance, the Golden Knights may acquire a draft pick, prospect or future considerations from another NHL team in exchange for their agreement to not select a particular exposed player in June’s expansion draft".

That sort of flies in the face of fairness.

Still looking over the prospects & the more highlights i see of RHD Cale Makar the more i'm sold. If JB can deal for another 1st somehow the two picks would be awesome. Maybe gettng a 12-16th pick would do it. TBL Buffalo come to mind for starters. Flexibility in the draft is nice if we can manage a solid trade. Makar is committed to UMass but looks like a Patrick Kane on D.
BPA F & Makar yum yum but prolly cost a Tanev. |

this is what I was mentioning before...
I suspect the reason its not collusion is because no matter what the trade is, it in someway results in a player coming to LV. |

For us to maybe be big sellers at the TDL a few bubble teams got heat up bigtime & we slump. Those teams do not look like thats imminent.

You think Demko's development takes that long? We could end up with another Lou situation if Miller is stuck here for that long…can we take the chance on Miller's decline in that time frame? - LordHumungous

What choices does Miller have? - Nighthawk
Plenty. Just like there are trade destination speculation. Signing would add more teams to the mix. |

I was just reading about his termination, I believe you're right, he said he was retiring from coaching but would entertain a managerial position in a front office somewhere within the league. |

Yeo....they obviously moved up their plan as Yeo was to take over next year. Probably felt the players had tuned Hitch out, he was there too long. |

Trevor should be placing a call. Might b a good bridge between JB and HC. Improve the development and play parts of the club. Don't know what he could do for trades though. |

From Dreger's twitter:
Spoke to Hitch about his future weeks ago and he wants to be part of a "team". He's a competitor and won't want to go out like this.
Sounds to me like he has a change of heart and wants another run as HC.
Also under the radar of the move is they fired their goalie coach. Allen has not done well this season |

Seems we have a lot of trade everyone talk this month. Forgone conclusions Canucks will fall out of the bubble and into AZ and Av territory of hopeless.
Well I will take it one game at a time. So will be excited to see with Hansen's return if Bo gets a new winger. |
