I keep trying to think who could be a possible trade partner for Edler to waive and I keep coming back to the Rangers. They have a shot at the cup but their Defence isn't great. McDonagh, Holden, Skjei, Girardi, Staal. Surprisingly, they've only used 7 D all year so they arnt injury prone, BUT they also don't have much depth to call upon in Hartford either.
They have the cap space and a ton of scoring up front, IF they sent someone like Kevin Hayes or JT Miller back our way...

wishful thinking

For the umpteenth time edler wont waive hes said that, so hes a canuck we have to live with it.

Wouldn't surprise me if Miller can't get a deal close to his wife if he says (frank) it and asks for something along those lines

As far as I know, Moureen isn't really working much these days anyways, so that might not be as big of an issue as it was 3 years ago when she had a role in a network sitcom.

Don't be surprised if Jim extends Miller for 4 more years at 8.5 too
- VANTEL

You think Demko's development takes that long? We could end up with another Lou situation if Miller is stuck here for that long…can we take the chance on Miller's decline in that time frame?

It's not like you can't move on from Miller if demko is ready at any point in next 4 years

For all the bashing of Elliott for being a product of the blues system it looks like they need a better goalie than Allen ...

Wonder if they would be interested in giving Miller a shot ...oh wait ...well bishop might be available if they like him ...oh wait ...

Sure. Though at this point that goes in the suggestion box of pipe dreams like trading the twins or having FA sell the team. Or better yet tanking and getting 1oA pick that's a savior.

Why would Miller want to resign here? He only did cause of the big money and retool promise. So now what?

As for Marky he's got to take up the #1 spot and solidify himself. Demko as a goalie will take a while. If he's up he'll only get spot duty and that won't help with his development. Young goalies need to play lots.
