caught part of a segment on 1040, the speculation was that Patrick Marleau is not or wouldn't be a hall of famer... the guy is a 500 goal scorer 1000+ points, Olympic gold...

some of this sh1t (hof, awards, lists) is just so arbitrary.

Who's captained three Stanley Cup championship teams and won the Conn Smythe and Selke in the process? I'd suggest just a handful of guys.

I dont think he's definitively off the list, I just think based on his career numbers (and not being designated the captain of 3 extremely good teams) he is less worthy. I think Kopitar is very similar, having won multiple cups, has a Selke, Lady Byng and better production on a lower scoring team, but I cant say he would be in the running for top 67 players of the last 50 years.

Just my opinion, but it is an interesting discussion for sure

I don't know man, after the first day it wasn't so bad because the ice cleared up. It sucked not having power or running water for nearly 3 days, but I never felt like I was in danger.

The biggest headache is that my wife turns into another child in times of crisis. You'd think some basic survivor skills would sink in but she literally could not take a poop without help.

I think Marleau and the Sedin's are both HOF worthy. To score 1000 points in the NHL is not easy to do.

a common thought in the summer was if everything went well, because the Sedins are still producing (folks can argue about it being first or second line production), the club could be a fringe/wild card team.

Benning has been pretty good drafting at whichever spot.
