Yes, it was a lousy trade. It seemed like a gem at the time because Clendening was dominating in the AHL but he was just too slow. The scouts deserve some criticism for not noticing this

Its so bittersweet. You have to praise JB for finding a decent playing in the 5th round, but have to criticize his actions on swapping out a project for an immediate fringe bandaid.

I hope his dogs aren't sick when they want to give him the Jack Adams.

big disappointment.

thought the scouting report on Clendening was he was offensive and walked the blue line to get his shot through. We didn't see this, it turned out his skating needed work and he wasn't that offensive.

100% agree. I love dogs (animals in general). My parents opened up a non-profit organization on the island that reunites dogs/cats/animals that have gone lost or run away from their owners. I have been involved in many searches and its such a gratifying feeling when you see people get their animals back.

caught part of a segment on 1040, the speculation was that Patrick Marleau is not or wouldn't be a hall of famer... the guy is a 500 goal scorer 1000+ points, Olympic gold...
