Bo Horvat will be a passer (with mackinnon) on the One timers skills relay, One of the shooters for the 4 line challenge, and Fastest Skater Challenge (vs Tarasenko).....

I'm rarely interested in the ASG/skills competition, but it will be nice to see just how fast Horvat is and to not have to watch another season with a Sedin/Vrbata

Only 3 years of draft picks but I haven't seen any "diamonds" yet. Some decent NHL players but certainly no Jamie Benn, Ondrej Palat, or Jake Muzzin.

But we took a flyer on a couple of non drafted CHL scorers in Dane fox and Curtis Valk. You never know both of them guys might play a combined 10 games in the NHL.

Personally im hoping for a center or Dman that can carry a team offensively prefer one that plays the right side after taking OJ last year and having Hutton, Brisebois and Tryamkin who plays both sides. If nothing is really left on the board of value id go with a left Dman or high scoring winger. We lack size up front so that would be a nice add. Isaac Ratcliff in the 2nd round would be solid.

Colorado is an absolute dumpster fire so no chance we finish below them, Arizona has been playing much better the last couple of weeks and could make a small push but likely I think we draft between 3-10 with our schedule after the break.

Anyone know what the future consideration is that we get from Carolina for Fox?

Personally im hoping for a center or Dman that can carry a team offensively prefer one that plays the right side after taking OJ last year and having Hutton, Brisebois and Tryamkin who plays both sides. I thought Utica would have been much better this year with Carcone and Laplante and Labate. They all showed great signs in rookie camp and have kind of gone cold.
