My friend and I played both Resident Evil 5 and 6 co-op a while back. Especially 6 was so (frank)ing cheesy beyond belief and just straight up nonsense. It played more like an action comedy game with how much we were laughing at its ridiculousness. But that was kind of part of the charm.
My first one was Resident Evil 4 back on my GameCube as a lad, but that game is a downright masterpiece. - Mononoke
Resident evil 5 and 6 are bad. More so 6 than 5. I enjoyed 5. They just don't compare to 4 or the formers. But 4 is my 2nd favorite behind resident evil 2, which is from when I got into the series on PlayStation. This new one ditched the action entirely. It's first person survival horror and ammunition and health are scarce and don't drop from zombie's bodies like 5 and 6. I'd recommend checking it out if you have time / still dabble in video games. |

As king, I find this very frightening - YuenglingJagr
Welcome to the truth; a life that's not your own.
Controlled by labor, printed paper and the corruptors of the world.
Synthetic lies collect our minds to the beast.
We've had the rug pulled from under our feet.
Media terrorists thrive on deceit,
Spoonfeeding bullpoop served by elite societies harnessing fear as a weapon.
The time has come for all to see,
The man behind the curtain cast into disease. (into disease)
Take back the light.
It's a dangerous place we're headed for if we accept defeat.
Now we know it's a show they've been running from below.
Burn it down until the ground beneath the faulty entity is glistening
Under the wings of a golden era.
Listening to the hate they've created inside us, we grow. |

I enjoyed 5 too. Quasi-racist as it was, the game itself was enjoyable and felt a bit more like RE4 in co-op mode. RE6 was a disaster, but it was one of those so bad it's good games IMO. I cannot imagine playing that single player. It would've been a disaster. But my friend and I, who never hesitate to crack jokes, had a nonstop giggle fest.
I'm not big into true horror games tbh (a lot of the RE games kind of aren't that scary). I remember playing Condemned and Dead Space and just not even finishing them. I do have time, but I'm gearing up to start The Witcher and devote years of my life to it. |

Haha now that you mention it, looking back I remember RE5 being pushed back for release due to conflicts involving racism. Yeah I played one of the playable stories In RE6 (Leon, my favorite resident evil guy) and was just unimpressed. I've been a fan of this genre of games since RE2 so similar with scary movies, you seen enough the scare isn't as frightening. But RE7 brought back some of the scariness with going first person. Dead space got old but I found Condemned enjoyable with the cool investigating aspect of hunting down a serial killer. The Witcher is a great game! Your social life may suffer |

Just admit you bet it all on Andrew Ladd, opened your heart to him, and he turned out to be a two-timing turd. |

Lol how on earth did Marchand just get a fine for a clearly malicious, intended slew foot? Guy has a track record as long as [insert metaphor]. He gets zero benefit of the doubt. I seriously loathe NHL Player Safety. |

It was not a slew foot since he only kicked out the legs. He didn't use his arm to push back on the upper body.
Should have been a game for a dangerous trip but we can't have that since he's an all star. |

Allegedly, Bergeron was slew footed/tripped earlier and it was "payback" according to B's fans.
More disturbing is that none of the tough guys on the wings stood up for Kronwall. They just let it happen. |

I think this is effectively the NHL that the league wants.
It seems the only thing that ever warrants a response anymore is a clean hard hit. |
