I especially like three things about this:
1) PEB failing to knock down the pass
2) PEB succeeding at knocking down his own defender (Provorov?)
3) PEB being out against Tavares at 3-on-3 OT
Seriously though, stopping Tavares on a breakaway twice in a game should elevate you to at least adequate, or AGSM. - jmatchett383

I saw AMac skate by after the save, but if it was him, I found the area he excels at: getting back onto his feet quickly after diving. I assumed it was another player since, really, he was up and skating about 1 second after a full-on sell out. |

Sorry, should have read as "iSecond."
Did you know that AMac was drafted after the 05/06 season? |

If I remember correctly, and I am pretty sure I do, it was PEB and Amac. Because why not have those two out there in a 3v3 situation.
Also, Amac dove to try to poke Tavares in a last ditch effort. Go figure Tavares would get a breakaway in OT with those two on the ice..
Awesome game though. Good to see them win. - jak521
It was PEB and AMac. I remember because after the game i said it was terrible coaching. It should have been 76 and 47 not 78 and 47!
i was saying the above i sarcasm. |

Yeah, pretty much.
I go with:
G
Jake
Simmonds
Schenn
Coots
Read
Tk
Cousins
before I'd even think about putting PEB out there |

So i have been tracking on-ice shooting/save percentages a bit...i posted about it on 12/13 and now on 1/23
Only 1 Flyer has experienced an increase in on-ice shooting percentage since 12/13. His name is Nick Schultz. He has played over 1000 career games.
I identified that Raffl was probably the luckiest of all Flyers skaters at that time and since he has experienced some wicked regression.
This answer I am not going to give you...which skater is seeing the worst on-ice save percentage? Hint...it is well below his career average |

I was trying to figure out who made the dive/sell out barely get the stick play there. It's actually a good job after giving up the breakaway. I couldn't really see the number but I thought it was him. |

So I didn't see Saturday's game because I had my own game and never did get a chance to watch it but did I hear correctly that the ref saw the replay on the Gudas penalty and admitted to Simmonds he missed the call but yet STILL gave Simmonds 2 for unsportsmanlike conduct? I mean I understand you can't take a call back after seeing the replay but show some restraint there and allow Simmonds to sound off |

I'm just wondering how you can rule a clear recovery but no fumble, then replay the call, and rule that it was a fumble, but not a clear recovery. |

Thanks Bill for sharing Lorren's story.... a sad one that it is. Hopefully the visit by Marsh meant a lot to him. RIP fellow Flyers fan. |

These next two games really could dictate the future of this team over the course of the rest of the season.
Win them both and you now have a 3 game winning streak with 2 wins over teams in your division.
Cant wait for Wed night. |

As soon as he gave the unsportmanlike to Simmer the group with me at Xfinity all gave up on the game. We knew they were going to fold like a house of cheap cards. Simmer has every right to argue the call. I'm just wondering How man F-Bombs he said before that ref slapped him with that call. Post game I know the admission was made I didn't know it was made in game. If so damn that ref has a thin skin. |
