That was way more goaltender interference than the call on the Flyers in C-Bus. There is no rhyme or reason to this rule. |

No way that goal stands.. - opeth_pa
I seriously have no idea what they are going to rule anymore. that looked like the pen clearly shoved Grubauer in the net |

Seriously I understand what is and isn't interference as much as what is and isn't a catch in the NFL. utterly ridiculous |

It's honestly completely random. The NHL seriously needs to address the ref situation. It's been a massive problem league wide this year. Paul Stewart can argue all he wants that refs aren't perfect and make mistakes but this is getting insane. |

Like Plind said, that looked way more then what happened in the Columbus game and it wasnt called..
I cant figure it out.
Even almost immediately calling the play dead when the Pens dude got hit with the puck
how many times have we seen players laying on the ice and the game still continues.. |

Agreed. Review doesn't work when they are still getting calls incorrect after reviewing them. |

Absolutely. If you showed that to all the NHL crews you would prob have 60% rule one way, 40% the other way. |

60% one way, 35% the other, and 5% would just give up and guess |

I think the rule should be simplified. Did the contact with the goaltender impede him from making the save or not. They are factoring in incidental contact and other factors. A player can touch the goaltender and still not effect his ability to make a save. |

Hornqvist looked like he allowed himself to slide into Grubauer then shoved him with this stick. I mean, how is that a goal? Can't wait to see the explanation from the league on that one |

Good idea and it certainly looked like it did interfere on that play. |

So apparently it wasn't interference because Winnik pushed Hornqvist
Id have to see it again |

Official decision is that winnik's hand on the ice tripped Hornqvist making it no interference |

i think that is bullpoop. Hornqvist could have stopped himself but inched his way into Grubauer then used his stick to shove him. |

I think its dumb to have the officials make these rulings looking at a small tablet. either have a large monitor in the scorer's box or have toronto make the ruling. |

it was Gordon vs Lyubimov and Gordon was the odd man out. he was expendable. i don't think they see anyone else on this roster they are willing to waive to call someone up. until there is an injury or trade they don't have the room to call anyone up - nastyflyergirl
Based on the repeated comments made by Hextall, if they thought a player was ready and would improve the team, he would make the moves necessary. They have a number of players that they could move to make room.
