Lol remember when people were obsessed with calling up Oliver Lauridsen and thought he was good? That used to be the state of our defense. Fun times.
Looking back though that season, our defense had esteemed veterans like Nik Grossmann, Kent Huskins, Bruno Gervais, Kurtis Foster......fun times. - Mononoke

To those around him in the AHL, MacDonald went all-in on the reassignment. He moved into the Renaissance Allentown Hotel, connected to the Phantoms’ home rink at PPL Center, while his wife, Hali, and son, Mason, stayed back in Philadelphia. Gostisbehere remembers MacDonald ponying up for everyone’s Chipotle during a road trip, buying a team meal after a big win, and shelling out for transportation for the rookie dinner in New York City, even though MacDonald never got to attend.
A 2016 Calder Cup finalist, whose mid-November recall to the Flyers’ coincided with their rise into the playoff picture, Gostisbhere also found himself learning from the intense nutrition regiment of his on-ice partner. “He’s got all these beet powders, crazy stuff I’ve tried,” Gostisbehere says. “That’s his thing. He’s the beet man.”
That's his real nickname.

I am in the meeting from hell. Thankfully it's via conference call. If it wasn't for the Macallan, I likely would have murdered someone by now. |

Even by the eye test, Morin isn't ready, Sanheim is looking good but with Ghost, Provy and Streit we don't need a powerplay guy yet, Morin is -2 on a good Phantom team that is plus 39 he has a long way to go. Stats are not everything but even Ghosts -17 on a team that is -18 overall is bad. Bounces or not Morin has had some bad games to be in the - on a team that is plus 39. You put him on this team now wouldn't do him or the team any good, as bad as any of our D are there better than him right now , it's not even close.Even Milbury pointed out when Ghost got caught for that 2 on 1 yesterday in the first , even though they didn't score his confidence isn't there . No scence bringing them up till there ready . |

Well, judging by the first three pages of this thread, I assume we stripped Giroux of the C, fired Hextall and Hakstol, and traded Ghost for Gary Roberts.
And signed Desjardins, Lindros, and Briere for the rest of the season.
Did I miss anything? |

I think being a fan of any team it was great watching the Cowflops get buried. 2 Playoff wins in the last two decades. What a pathetic franchise. |

Yes, we need to play other players because we haven't done that yet, and who knows what might happen!

4 mandated days off, the only thing they're working on is their golf games, tans, and, for the single guys, getting laid.

I was a big fan of Lauridsen....and still thinks someone should give him a shot.
Kent Huskins did yeo mans work when he was here, all without a complaint. |

best offensive line you'll ever see and they can't hold it together for the playoffs |
