In the off season. Flyers don't have to make changes tomorrow. Just realize that they have to be made then make them.

I think even before this season began, Hextall was aware that changes needed to be made, and he has a plan and a process in place of how he is going to do that. The current inconsistent play, and quite frankly that is putting it kindly, should not change that plan or process. In my opinion Hextall should not do anything that is reactionary to the current poor streak the team is on.

Montreal is a team that is ready to compete now with the best goaltender on the planet. The Flyers are at a completely different point in their development. It's not nearly the same situation.

The need for change moving forward was already there, even when they were on a 10 game win streak.

I just want a different team going into next year. By the end of this season he has had more than enough time to do something.

Wow, you know what would REALLY change the complexion of this team in the next 12 months or so?

Adding Lindblom, Sanheim, Morin, maybe Myers at some point. Then some depth guys like Leier and Laughton. They need a true 25-30 point 3C to acquire, probably in a trade, this offseason. That's the only weakness that a prospect won't cover up short-term.

Other than that, Hextall is a patient man, not a reactive one. They came in as a bubble team, still are a bubble team, will remain a bubble team. People have to stop acting so surprised and histrionic that they are one.

I had to give Provy an 8 x 8 contract in Nhl 17 he ended up being so good. Destroyed my salary cap

Gagner wouldn't be a difference maker, but Wiese at 4x the cap hit is an enormous difference maker.

Hextall does have a sweet spot for man from Manitoba

18 million between Giroux and Vorachek and combined are a -21. Schenn is over 5 million & only scores on PP which is great but ES no where to be found. Gudas is just a turd & good for at least 1 penalty a game

Game isnt just plus minus..even more when you have two goalies that have been average at best this season..plus were Jake and G producing when they signed those deals..

Simmonds, provorov, ghost, konecky, I like Vorachek too just overpaid. We have cap problems & the team is a bubble playoff team at best. Most teams up against the cap are cup contenders. It's frustrating right now.
